Day 34: Rain

Day 34. Rain.

Discouraged. Tired. Really tired. Possibly sick. All things I am experiencing right now.

But the rain is so soothing to me.

I need to sleep. But just can't yet.

Not to whine. It could always be worse.

I want vacation.

I need to sleep.

I will try now.

Oh. My computer decided to break itself. No exaggerating when I say this.

Tomorrow I will send it in and I will try to blog either on my iPod or my parents computer.

How inconvenient.

Wow. I am so spoiled.

It kind of makes me sick-er.

I need to stop feeling sorry for myself.

My life is so good.

Day33: Bible Study- Part 2

Day 32.Bible Study- Part 2.

Ok. Here is the story about my Bible study.

So a month ago I decided I needed to be in a Bible study. I looked for one with people my age and pretty much had zero luck. I'm at that weird age where I am not in high school but I am not in my 20s. I also really wanted to stay connected with Salem Alliance even though many kids from school have let me check out their college groups. So anyway, I pretty much gave up hope. Then Carol Adams came along. She told me about the foundations class she was in and invited me to it. Last wednesday I went and I loved it. It is just what it sounds. It is the basic foundations of Christianity. There are people from all different spiritual place and it feels super inviting and open. I really enjoy it. In fact, I am going to try and get wednsdays off from work so I can attem regularly. It is fabulous. So thanks Carol. I guess God wanted me to join a group study and this happens to be a great one!

Day 30: Bible Study

Day 30. Bible Study.

I went to an actual Bible study tonight. This is like the first time in 3 years I have done this. It is so encouraging. There is so much to say right now, but honestly I am so tired and really sick. I have a fun day planned for tomorrow and I want to feel good for it. Im going to sleep but expect a legit report when I'm not dead. Goodnight.

Day 29: Coffeeshops and what-not

Day 29. Coffee shops and what-not.

Today I went on coffe shop overload. I had a lazy morning around the house then went to Broadway to study. Then Pam (Pru's mom) texted me and we met up at Starbucks. Oh man. I love this lady. It was fun to catch up. I love this time of year. Everything seems so festive and hopeful. Plus I love the fashion for this year. What my favorite item of the fall so far?? HIGH SOCKS. yesss. This is how I wear them:
I love the look of dresses/skirts with over the knee socks. This is Ehlana's skirt and she found it at a thrift store but it is definitely homemade. I so want to make one. It is my new goal. Make a new skirt before winter.

Oh. and after my coffee date with Pam, I ran into Sephora and got new nail polish. This one is called Looks Like Rain, Dear. Get it?!? Reindeer?!?! Ahh. I love Christmastime. Anyway, check it out. Soooo sparkly.

Oh man. Good day. And now I will leave you with a collage of apple bobbing.

Day 28: Halloween-Part Deux

Day 28. Halloween-Part Deux.

My, oh my. Where to start?? Last night was FUN. I was a kitty cat. My plan was to be a ghost but Hannah ruined that when she didn't like the cat ears I bought for her costume. Long story short: we had two cat ears, thus there were two cats. It was just a fun evening of food, friends, and more food. Honestly, I just love any reason to celebrate (not that I "celebrate" halloween, I just like to party :)). But yeah, check out our costumes:

Oh man. I loved this night. The highlight of it?? Bobbing for apples!! YES! It was really hard actually. But fun. Oh man. So much food. I'll try to add more pictures when I get them from Ehlana. Oh and how can I forget...FIONA!! She was a banana split. She hated it. I think she was embarrassed because she kept hiding while it was on. It was funny. But it made it tricky to get a good picture.

This is the banana hat, not a KKK hat. Just saying...
Oh man. So good. Also, I have an update on the status of my pumpkin. It is sad news. Very sad. MY PUMPKIN MOLDED. Really bad. Like really, really bad. I carved it on a Sunday and by Thursday it was moldy and dripping black liquid. Here. Look for yourself.

Sad, I know. But I am drowning my pain with an eggnog latte from Starbucks. I seriously wait all year for the holiday drinks to come out. Yummy. I am so cozy right now. Oh. And 55 days till Christmas. YAYYYY!!
eggnog is yummmmmy
